Along life’s way…

Most people never recognize the opportunities God places on our pathway of life…

Thomas Carlyle (1795-1881) loved his wife. She loved to help her husband in his writing career. But she became ill with cancer and was confined to bed. Though he loved her dearly, Carlyle was so busy writing that he rarely found time to stay at her bedside.
The day of her burial it rained and the mud was deep. After the funeral, Carlyle returned home, deeply shaken. He went into his wife’s bedroom, sat down on a chair beside her bed, realizing he had not spent enough time with her in her illness.
From the bedside table he picked up her diary and began to read. One line smote his heart: “Yesterday he spent an hour with me and it was like being in heaven. I love him so.” He turned the page and this time his heart was broken, for she had written, “I have listened all day to hear his steps in the hall, but now it is late and I guess he won’t come today.”
Carlyle threw the diary to the floor and rushed back to the cemetery in the rain. Friends found him face down in the mud at the newly made grave. He was weeping, saying over and over, “If I had only known! If I had only known!”

The truth comes out again!

Superstar CBS Reporter Blows the Lid Off the Swine Flu Media Hype and Hysteria

My Interview on CBS

Sharyl Attkisson is a CBS News correspondent and investigative reporter. She’s covered Capitol Hill since February 2006 and has been a Washington-based correspondent there since January 1995. She was also part of the CBS news team that received the Edward Murrow Award in 2005 for overall excellence. Additionally, she received an Outstanding Investigative Journalism Emmy in 2002 for a series on the Red Cross.

In case you didn’t realize it, Sharyl Attkisson is the investigative reporter behind the groundbreaking CBS News study that found H1N1 flu cases are NOT as prevalent as feared.

In fact, they’re barely on the radar screen.

How did this startling information come about, and why is the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) painting a different picture entirely? I spoke directly with Sharyl Attkisson to find out.

Two Videos

The first video is an amazing interview I did with Sharyl about ten days ago and what the bulk of this article is based on.

The second video is brand new and was done at noon yesterday in which I was videoed in the CBS studio in downtown Chicago. Sharyl was gracious enough to invite me to be on with Dr. Bernadine Healy, the former director of the NIH. We both were in agreement about the swine flu and opposed to the stance the CDC is taking, but we had different views on mammograms.

Please also watch the second interview as it is very entertaining.

Getting Started on the Swine Flu Trail

Ms. Attkisson says:

“The reason I looked into this is a couple of months ago, I got tips from three or four different segments of public healthcare, with folks telling me the CDC has recommended that they go ahead and stop testing for and counting swine flu cases.

Each different entity that contacted me was concerned, thinking that this should not be happening. They really felt that it was necessary for the swine flu to continue to be tracked in some details. So I went about trying to find out why this decision was made and what the ramifications would be.

… I started by contacting the CDC and the HHS and asking some basic questions. I felt like I pretty much got stonewalled with some of the information I really needed to get at, especially what I needed from the states data, and information on the rationale behind this decision to stop counting and testing for swine flu.”

Because the CDC did not initially respond to Attkisson’s requests, she contacted all 50 states directly, asking for their statistics on state lab-confirmed H1N1 prior to the halt of individual testing and counting in July. She also asked states, one by one, to help explain the rationale behind the CDC’s decision to stop tracking H1N1 cases.

Attkisson continues:

“One of my good sources within the government said to me that they’re either trying to, in his opinion, over-represent the swine flu numbers or under-represent by not counting them anymore. He said, “You need to find out which it is.” And so to find out which it might be, I really wanted to see the data that the CDC had at the time it made the decision to quit counting the cases.”

What Her Investigative Report Reveals

If you listen to most media outlets and even to government agencies, you get the impression that virtually every person who has visited their physician with flu-like symptoms in recent months has H1N1, with no testing necessary because, after all, there’s an epidemic.

We are all being led to believe that every case diagnosed as “swine flu” or even as “flu-like illness” is, in fact, swine flu.

But Attkisson’s investigation revealed a very different picture right from her first contact with individual states. She explains:

“Across the country, state by state, they were testing [for H1N1] until CDC told them not to bother. They were testing, in general, the cases most likely to be believed to have been swine flu based on a doctor’s diagnosis of symptoms and risk factors such as travel to Mexico.

These special cases were going to state labs for absolute confirmation with the best test — not the so-called “rapid testing,” but the real confirmation test.

Of those presumed likely swine flu cases out of approximately every hundred of what was tested, only a small fraction were actually swine flu. In every instance, perhaps the biggest number of cases that were swine flu was something like 30%. The smallest number was something like 2% or 3%.

Maybe there’s one state where it was just 1%.

The point is, of the vast majority of the presumed swine flu cases recognized by trained physicians, the vast majority were not flu at all. They weren’t swine flu or regular flu; they were some other sort of upper respiratory infection.”

And here is the clincher that it seems the CDC just doesn’t want the American public to know …

“The CDC explained that one of the reasons they quit counting was because of all the flu that’s out there, most are swine flu. Well, that’s true. Most of the flu that was out there was indeed swine flu, but they failed to say that most of the suspected flu was nothing at all. And I think that’s the caveat the public just didn’t know,” Attkisson explains.

She gives even more striking examples of the numbers the investigative report revealed. For instance:

  • In Florida, 83 percent of specimens that were presumed to be swine flu were negative for all flu when tested!
  • In California, 86 percent of suspected H1N1 specimens were not swine flu or any flu; only 2 percent were confirmed swine flu.
  • In Alaska, 93 percent of suspected swine flu specimens were negative for all flu types; only 1 percent was H1N1 flu.

Freedom of Information and Getting the Truth Out

It is not easy for journalists to access this type of information, and they often have to wait weeks, months or even years for information from the CDC and the FDA — information that is readily available and supposed to be clearly public.

Attkisson expands on the difficulties she faced in trying to get simple data regarding swine flu cases in the United States:

“They [CDC’s public affairs] quit communicating with me when I pressed on why I couldn’t get certain information. They just wouldn’t answer my emails anymore. So I had to file a Freedom of Information request, which is usually my last choice because I know I was going into a deep black hole many times and I’ll never get an answer.

But in this case, I got an interesting response on October 19 from the CDC when I had asked for some simple, public documents that would have been easy for them to obtain too quickly.

Journalists are allowed to ask for expedited processing of their Freedom of Information request because, for obvious reasons, they’re working on a story that may have public impact or be of public interest. The agencies are not supposed to use the Freedom of Information Law to obstruct or delay the release of this information.

This may be the first time I was denied that expedited processing from Freedom of Information that we’re entitled to as members of the press; a letter from HHS or Health and Human Services (the CDC is under HHS) said to me that one of the reasons they’re denying my expedited processing is because this is not a matter of “widespread and exceptional media or public interest.”

In other words, the CDC doesn’t think these questions about swine flu prevalence and these other things that we’ve been asking are, at least in their opinion in this letter, not a matter of widespread and exceptional media or public interest.”

Yet, while the CDC expressed that questions about swine flu prevalence were not a matter of widespread media or public interest, the President had declared the swine flu a national public health emergency!

The inconsistencies at the CDC are nearly incomprehensible.

The Ramifications of the Swine Flu Policy

According to Attkisson’s CBS News study, when you come down with chills, fever, cough, runny nose, malaise and all those other “flu-like” symptoms, the illness is likely caused by influenza at most 17 percent of the time and as little as 3 percent! The other 83 to 97 percent of the time it’s caused by other viruses or bacteria.

So remember that not every illness that appears to be the flu actually is the flu. In fact, most of the time it’s not.

Curiously, the CDC still advises those who were told they had 2009 H1N1 (and therefore should be immune to getting it again) to get vaccinated unless they had lab confirmation.

But because very few people have actually had a lab-confirmed case of H1N1 (and in most cases those people told they had swine flu probably did not), this means nearly everyone is still being advised to get the swine flu vaccine.

Attkisson has been one of the few to speak out against this flawed system and point out the serious ramifications that come when a public health agency is secretive about their health data.

Attkisson says:

“From a public and journalistic standpoint, I believe the mistake comes when you don’t fully disclose to the public as you go and discover the mistakes. Try to disclose and fix things that come up.

Everybody understands that there isn’t a perfect system, but I think you need to be upfront with them, explain what you’re doing, and explain what you’re discovering. If you’ve made a mistake or you feel like you need to correct something, say that, too, but don’t just try to keep information from the public.”

I couldn’t agree more, and Attkisson’s CBS News report has stood out like a bright light of truth among all the clouds of misinformation.

If you’d like to learn more about the report and its findings, you can read all the details in the past article CBS Reveals that Swine Flu Cases Seriously Overestimated.

Title: How can we know God Part 1
Post by: Kerminator on 13,Nov2009, 07:40*:GMT

” He who knows me knows me not! “ Would be a good place to start in your understanding of who God is…

” God is Truth!”  and  Almighty God is “The Great I AM!”   The expression of the Absolute Truth!

We must start with Truth!  The Truth is an eternal state of being;  which never diminishes…  It is Eternal!

1) Truth is eternal, it can never be changed or altered because it is!
{While this may seem odd or unclear to you, read on as we bring more to light on what the Truth is!}

2) Truth is: Indivisible in it’s transcendent source; yet in this earthly realm the search is often a painful part of mankind…

3) Truth is actually a desired placed in the heart of man…   We each feel the need to find the Truth in our life as we exist here!

4) Truth is actually the pathway of our existence, it is spread before us as we move through this life…

5) Truth is for those who seek it , some what like the phrase  ” to seize the unseizable.”

The way Truth is displayed in Creation is spread before us principally generally in two forms of manifestation, either with symbols and /or  through revelation!  If it were just spread out before us on our pathway of life, then there would be no choice, it would be a preconceived divine plan; where you just follow the bread crumbs… HUH!    What kind of a life would that be?

Therefore our destiny is to seek the Truth, not to just blindly following a predetermined trail without any real determination or choice…  It it were not so then just what would that get you?  It would only be a controlled path to a predetermined goal…  Why live at all if you were is  just some form of a Chess piece on a Grand Eternal Board, moved by an invisible hand for personal gain or pleasure?

No,  the Truth must be found in each of our lives, through effort, love and concern…  The whole of the Truth emanated from our deepest desires of the human heart!  The heart is the center of the human body as well as the spiritual realm of man!  Yes both are effected by this search for the Truth in our life!

“God is Truth!”

The Truth never changes!  If a Truth changed then it is not The Absolute Truth!

Title: How can we know God Part II
Post by: Kerminator on 13,Nov2009, 19:11*:GMT

Each person has within themselves The Kingdom of God; by virtue of their immortal soul, which is part of the divine nature!

Since each person also lives in the present Earthly life, this causes a dualism…  Each person must relate on two fronts, the Eternal Heavenly Realm on one hand, all the while living in this world surrounded by both their sensory organs and mental faculties…  Therefore man must live with his / her religious life in both realms…  The truth is always there but you must learn to see it and then decide if you will tempt fate by not accepting or believing it!

The “Omnipresence” of Almighty God is an expression of dual significance:  first is the ever present spiritually by HIS Spirit which penetrates all things even inorganic matter! Then on the other side, He is present in the symbolic sense; which is also an intelligence as well as symbolic! Thus we can sense or see Almighty God in two realms of existence!

The way of truth and knowledge is perceived by the eye of the heart, which may seem to be a voyage in the opposite direction!  At times it moves toward serenity, then toward liberty in relation to every mental state! As secularization proceeds, it may appear that the light of Truth becomes weaker; yet is it so?  Can man really just forget or become blinded to the truth?

Forget not really, but become blinded or placed in a gray area of deception, yes…  You can believe a lie and be damned…  When you do not accept the truth in any situation, you have come to believe a lie…  Because it is actually the truth or a lie!

Remember God gave us the freedom of choice, just be careful what you believe as the truth!

Which part?

Which part of “U” do not have a clue, don’t you understand; members of the Federal Government?

All this plan for Natl Health Care is a National Registration of citizens and the movement toward total Government Control of the masses! Look at the history!

To President Obama and all 535 voting members of the Legislature,

It is now official you are ALL misguided and looking in the wrong place, for answers to the major problems:  Ask the tax paying citizens, they have to foot the bill…  Plus the younger generations need input as this will impact their lives long after all of the present government types are gone…  This should be a decision of the people!

  • The U.S. Post Service was established in 1775 You have had 234 years to get it right and it is broke.
  • Social Security was established in 1935. You have had 74 years to get it right and it is broke.
  • Fannie Mae was established in 1938. You have had 71 years to get it right and it is broke.
  • War on Poverty started in 1964. You have had 45 years to get it right; $1 trillion of our money is confiscated each year and transferred to “the poor” and they only want more.
  • Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965. You have had 44 years to get it right and they are broke.
  • Freddie Mac was established in 1970. You have had 39 years to get it right and it is broke.
  • The Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil. It has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of $24 billion a year and we import more oil than ever before. You had 32 years to get it right and it is an abysmal failure.

You have FAILED in every “government service” you have shoved down our throats while overspending our tax dollars AND  NOW YOU WANT TAX PAYING AMERICAN CITIZENS TO BELIEVE YOU CAN BE TRUSTED WITH A GOVERNMENT-RUN HEALTH CARE SYSTEM??

WHAT PART OF YOU DON’T GET IT, DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND?  ASK THE PEOPLE!

Youth of the world, now is the time for you to start working toward your future! Wake all you under 30…  The present political regime is stealing your future well being…

Saying “Yes we can!” While you just  sit there like a bump on a log!

Most of the  legislation this present Congress has passed will not really improve anything except to line someone’s pockets, then burden your generation as well as future one’s with excessive debt and grief…

If you have not stopped to figure it out yet,  understand one thing:

They ain’t doing it for you!

BTW:  “Yes, you can!”  should not be limited to any one; because it is for everyone!

If any of you really can stop and think about what the future holds for your generation, you would see a great debt that will either make you poor for life or you will lose what freedoms you have to either the Muslim or Chinese  or other world systems…  Neither will be very nice…  DUH!

The texting, facebook, music, sex and drugs will not make you happy…  The world systems only keep you coming back for more of the same!  If you think so just keep following the current crowd and doing the “What is expected of you!” groups and you will see a drastic change in your future…

The entertainment industry may be fun but it is not real life!  It would behoove you to start thinking about your future beyond the present set of circumstances…  The race you are in now does not end with you winning!

I have seen history unfold, and you really need to wake up!  HUH!

I do not get paid to post nor do I know many if any of you, but I would like to see you start to make decisions that will help control your life, the way you would most likely want it; in place of the current pathway to such a disastrous conclusion and gloom!

Stop by my web site forum @ http://simplytruth.com/forums/index.php

BTW:  You must read more than just a few posts, to ever get a good understanding of the Truth on your pathway of life! Unless you read and think you will always be a followed and person used by many of the so called leaders in the society of this world!

“Remember if you don’t believe the Truth, then you believe a lie!”  a True-ism

This is a really upsetting piece.  I am afraid I have to believe him.  What do you think?

I have a feeling he is right…history always repeats itself.

“In God We Trust”

I hope you find the time to read this with an open mind. It’s interesting.  Please read it with the open mind rather than immediately breaking it down into left or right, but rather look at it from the neutral viewpoint of right or wrong.  It’s like the line below says, “what if he is right?”

Take the three minutes to read this.

David Kaiser is a respected historian whose published works have covered a broad range of topics, from European Warfare to American League Baseball. Born in 1947, the son of a diplomat, Kaiser spent his childhood in three capital cities: Washington D.C. , Albany , New York , and Dakar , Senegal .. He attended Harvard University , graduating there in 1969 with a B.A. in history. He then spent several years more at Harvard, gaining a PhD in history, which he obtained in 1976. He served in the Army Reserve from 1970 to 1976.

He is a professor in the Strategy and Policy Department of the United States Naval War College. He has previously taught at Carnegie Mellon, Williams College and Harvard University . Kaiser’s latest book, The Road to Dallas, about the Kennedy assassination, was just published by Harvard University Press.

History Unfolding

I am a student of history. Professionally, I have written 15 books on history that have been published in six languages, and I have studied history all my life. I have come to think there is something monumentally large afoot, and I do not believe it is simply a banking crisis, or a mortgage crisis, or a credit crisis. Yes these exist, but they are merely single facets on a very large gemstone that is only now coming into a sharper focus.

Something of historic proportions is happening. I can sense it because I know how it feels, smells, what it looks like, and how people react to it. Yes, a perfect storm may be brewing, but there is something happening within our country that has been evolving for about ten to fifteen years. The pace has dramatically quickened in the past two.

We demand and then codify into law the requirement that our banks make massive loans to people we know they can never pay back? Why?

We learned just days ago that the Federal Reserve, which has little or no real oversight by anyone, has “loaned” two trillion dollars (that is $2,000,000,000,000) over the past few months, but will not tell us to whom or why or disclose the terms. That is our money. Yours and mine. And that is three times the $700 billion we all argued about so strenuously just this past September. Who has this money? Why do they have it? Why are the terms unavailable to us? Who asked for it? Who authorized it? I thought this was a government of “we the people,” who loaned our powers to our elected leaders. Apparently not.

We have spent two or more decades intentionally de-industrializing our economy.. Why?

We have intentionally dumbed down our schools, ignored our history, and no longer teach our founding documents, why we are exceptional, and why we are worth preserving. Students by and large cannot write, think critically, read, or articulate. Parents are not revolting, teachers are not picketing, school boards continue to back mediocrity. Why?

We have now established the precedent of protesting every close election (violently in California o ver a proposition that is so controversial that it simply wants marriage to remain defined as between one man and one woman. Did you ever think such a thing possible just a decade ago?) We have corrupted our sacred political process by allowing unelected judges to write laws that radically change our way of life, and then mainstream Marxist groups like ACORN and others to turn our voting system into a banana republic. To what purpose?

Now our mortgage industry is collapsing, housing prices are in free fall, major industries are failing, our banking system is on the verge of collapse, social security is nearly bankrupt, as is Medicare and our entire government. Our education system is worse than a joke (I teach college and I know precisely what I am talking about) – the list is staggering in its length, breadth, and depth.. It is potentially 1929 x  ten…And we are at war with an enemy we cannot even name for fear of offending people of the same religion, who, in turn, cannot wait to slit the throats of your children if they have the opportunity to do so.

And finally, we have elected a man that no one really knows anything about, who has never run so much as a Dairy Queen, let alone a town as big as Wasilla , Alaska .. All of his associations and alliances are with real radicals in their chosen fields of employment, and everything we learn about him, drip by drip, is unsettling if not downright scary (Surely you have heard him speak about his idea to create and fund a mandatory civilian defense force stronger than our military for use inside our borders? No? Oh, of course. The media would never play that for you over and over and then demand he answer it. Sarah Palin’s pregnant daughter and $150,000 wardrobe are more important.)

Mr. Obama’s winning platform can be boiled down to one word: Change. Why?

I have never been so afraid for my country and for my children as I am now.

This man campaigned on bringing people together, something he has never, ever done in his professional life. In my assessment, Obama will divide us along philosophical lines, push us apart, and then try to realign the pieces into a new and different power structure. Change is indeed coming. And when it comes, you will never see the same nation again.

And that is only the beginning..

As a serious student of history, I thought I would never come to experience what the ordinary, moral German must have felt in the mid-1930s In those times, the “savior” was a former smooth-talking rabble-rouser from the streets, about whom the average German knew next to nothing. What they should have known was that he was associated with groups that shouted, shoved, and pushed around people with whom they disagreed; he edged his way onto the political stage through great oratory. Conservative “losers” read it right now.

And there were the promises. Economic times were tough, people were losing jobs, and he was a great speaker. And he smiled and frowned and waved a lot. And people, even newspapers, were afraid to speak out for fear that his “brown shirts” would bully and beat them into submission. Which they did – regularly. And then, he was duly elected to office, while a full-throttled economic crisis bloomed at hand – the Great Depression. Slowly, but surely he seized the controls of government power, person by person, department by department, bureaucracy by bureaucracy. The children of German citizens were at first, encouraged to join a Youth Movement in his name where they were taught exactly what to think. Later, they were required to do so. No Jews of course,

How did he get people on his side? He did it by promising jobs to the jobless, money to the money-less, and rewards for the military-industrial complex. He did it by indoctrinating the children, advocating gun control, health care for all, better wages, better jobs, and promising to re-instill pride once again in the country, across Europe , and across the world. He did it with a compliant media – did you know that? And he did this all in the name of justice and …. . .. change. And the people surely got what they voted for.

If you think I am exaggerating, look it up. It’s all there in the history books.

So read your history books. Many people of conscience objected in 1933 and were shouted down, called names, laughed at, and ridiculed. When Winston Churchill pointed out the obvious in the late 1930s while seated in the House of Lords in England (he was not yet Prime Minister), he was booed into his seat and called a crazy troublemaker. He was right, though. And the world came to regret that he was not listened to.

Do not forget that Germany was the most educated, the most cultured country in Europe . It was full of music, art, museums, hospitals, laboratories, and universities. And yet, in less than six years (a shorter time span than just two terms of the U. S. presidency) it was rounding up its own citizens, killing others, abrogating its laws, turning children against parents, and neighbors against neighbors.. All with the best of intentions, of course. The road to Hell is paved with them.

As a practical thinker, one not overly prone to emotional decisions, I have a choice: I can either believe what the objective pieces of evidence tell me (even if they make me cringe with disgust); I can believe what history is shouting to me from across the chasm of seven decades; or I can hope I am wrong by closing my eyes, having another latte, and ignoring what is transpiring around me..

I choose to believe the evidence. No doubt some people will scoff at me, others laugh, or think I am foolish, naive, or both. To some degree, perhaps I am. But I have never been afraid to look people in the eye and tell them exactly what I believe-and why I believe it.

I pray I am wrong. I do not think I am. Perhaps the only hope is our vote in the next elections.

What is it we lack?

Saturday, November 7th, 2009

The one thing we all lack in this life is seeming to find the correct path…

While we are all on a pathway now, the question should be what is our purpose…

How can we ever come to realize the true purpose of our life long efforts?

Most of what people engage in is self satisfaction in one form or another…

Now Desire is a predestined part of our physique and necessary for us to move forward in life…

The thing we must learn to do is develop the correct method of evaluating our opportunities and then acting accordingly…  The need for discernment is vital for the completion of our journey into Eternity!

Many go forth following the ways of the world;  which only lead to more dissatisfaction and grief!

Why?

Because the world is based upon the “ME” principle which feeds on greed and self satisfaction!

When are you going to learn that life is not about you and your satisfaction?  Life is a journey which allows the opportunity to become the person God desired you to be through choice not compulsion…

Look up the term “Bond Servant” in the Holy Bible;  start with Deuteronomy 15:15 to 17…   Then search the meaning on the internet and you will come to an understanding of how  John Newton, a wayward wretch found the real purpose in his life and had Duet 15:15 posted on his wall to read each day…  Recommend you read    John Newton Author of Amazing Grace, by Anne Sandberg; Barbour Books @www.barbourbooks.com   If you do not read this then you will miss an important guide to your eternal well being!

I can identify with how he learned to turn his life around and find his true purpose in Eternity!

Defination of a true Bond Servant:

Being a Bond Servant

Many do not understand the role of a bondservant in relation to our Master Yeshua (Jesus). We Americans instinctively cringe at the thought of servitude, slavery, or bondage. And no wonder since our country was founded on freedom, in the very act of breaking away from servitude to the King of England. A dictionary definition of a bond servant is someone bound to labor without wages. A synonym of bond servant is slave. Now before we throw out this whole idea, let’s look at what God’s Word says about the law of the bond servant and how it might apply to us.

“Now these are the judgments which you shall set before them: “If you buy a Hebrew servant, he shall serve six years; and in the seventh he shall go out free and pay nothing. “If he comes in by himself, he shall go out by himself; if he comes in married, then his wife shall go out with him. “If his master has given him a wife, and she has borne him sons or daughters, the wife and her children shall be her master’s, and he shall go out by himself. “But if the servant plainly says, ‘I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not go out free,’ “then his master shall bring him to the judges. He shall also bring him to the door, or to the doorpost, and his master shall pierce his ear with an awl; and he shall serve him forever.” (Exodus 21:1-6 NKJV unless otherwise noted)

The first judgments given to the children of Israel (after the 10 Commandments) were the instructions about servants. But there is something interesting mentioned in verse 5:

“But if the servant plainly says, ‘I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not go out free,”

This is a big decision, a choice for life. The judges (v. 6) were present to witness the servant’s willingness to become a bond servant to the master, his willingness to give up his freedom to the master, to work for the master and to do his will.

Why would anybody not want to be set free? Who wants to be under the bondage of a master?

Laws, ordinances and statutes do not make us slaves. In fact, they make us free! For example, look at America. We probably have more laws on our books than any other nation, yet we are considered one of the freest nations on the earth. Take our traffic laws, without them there would be chaos on the streets. It is easy to see the value of the laws especially when everybody obeys them. God set His laws in place for us, for our good. God wants us to obey Him, to be a servant (a bondservant) to Him. He is our master, we are His servants.

Many today want to be rulers not servants. Many large egos rule the Church and have little desire to be servants to all. However we have clear instruction in God’s Word about this very subject.

“Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant. “And whoever of you desires to be first shall be slave of all. “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:43-45)

Yeshua (Jesus) came to serve.

“For who is greater, he who sits at the table, or he who serves? Is it not he who sits at the table? Yet I am among you as the One who serves. (Luke 22:27)

Yeshua is our example.

We are to do as He has shown us. Yeshua took the form of a bond servant.

but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. (Philippians 2:7)

Yeshua came to do the will of His father.

Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come—In the volume of the book it is written of Me—To do Your will, O God.’ (Hebrews 10:7)

We must allow God to have all authority in our lives. We do this because of our love for our Master.

“You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. (Deuteronomy 6:5)

The above verse (in similar form) is repeated about 14 times in the Bible. Perhaps this is important?

But how do we become bondservants to the Most High God?

But Jesus answered him, saying, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.’” (Luke 4:4)

By reading Gods Word, (the whole bible, all of Scripture, Old and New Testaments [Covenants]).

Every word that proceeds from Him is for our good; for our edification

Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. (Proverbs 30:5)

Every word? Does this include God’s commandments and His Law?

My tongue shall speak of Your word, For all Your commandments are righteousness. (Psalms 119:172)

Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, And Your law is truth. (Psalms 119:142)

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. (1 John 5:3)

Can we be truly unburdened?

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. “For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)

How do we find rest for our souls? By taking the yoke and burden of Yeshua. But notice, these things are light (praise God).

The one who is truly free has chosen to serve only God. No matter what happens, he lets his Master take care of it for him, this is freedom and peace. Submit yourself to God totally and completely. Then suddenly, your are set free. Free from the worrisome burdens that plague our everyday lives, free of the offenses taken at every turn, free to serve the Master, the Good Master. He will fight for us, He will stand in the gap for us, He will do all for us as we submit to Him and do everything He says.

A true servant to Yeshua will have peace.

“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

What examples are there in the Word about being bond servants of the Master?

The Israelites were servants of God.

‘For the children of Israel are servants to Me; they are My servants whom I brought out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God. (Leviticus 25:55)

Moses was a servant. God Himself says so.

Not so with My servant Moses; He is faithful in all My house. (Numbers 12:7)

David was a servant.

I am Your servant; Give me understanding, That I may know Your testimonies. (Psalms 119:125)

Make Your face shine upon Your servant, And teach me Your statutes. (Psalms 119:135)

Your word is very pure; Therefore Your servant loves it. (Psalms 119:140)

Yeshua (Jesus) was a servant.

“To you first, God, having raised up His Servant Jesus, sent Him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.” (Acts 3:26)

The apostles were bondservants

Paul, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God (Romans 1:1)

Paul and Timothy, bondservants of Jesus Christ, To all the saints in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi, with the bishops and deacons: (Philippians 1:1)

James, a bondservant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad: Greetings. (James 1:1)

Notice that James had no problem with saying, a bondservant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Simon Peter, a bondservant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ: (2 Peter 1:1)

Jude, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, To those who are called, sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ: (Jude 1:1)

Consider the parable of the talents.

“For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them. “And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey… “After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them. “So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying, ‘Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’ “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ “He also who had received two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.’ “His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ “Then he who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed. ‘And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the ground. Look, there you have what is yours.’ “But his lord answered and said to him, ‘You wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have not scattered seed. ‘So you ought to have deposited my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received back my own with interest. (Matthew 25:14-15, 19-27, emphasis added)

God’s will is for His servants to increase in the gifts that He gives them. His will is defined in His Word, in both the old and new covenant.

Perhaps, to some, obeying God’s law seems like bondage. But remember laws give us freedom.

We are made free in being a bondservant because we put all our burdens on Him. If we fully serve Him, fully give our lives over to Him, fully desire to do His will, not ours, He becomes our Good Master who cares for and is concerned about His servants. Yeshua said to turn the other cheek. Why? Maybe, because as His servants, our Master will take care of our issues. We don’t try to fix our issues with our feeble human attempts, with our frequent misunderstandings, with our frequently misplaced anger. Our Master does.

For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The LORD will judge His people.” (Hebrews 10:30)

He will repay. We do not need to worry about it.

“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. (Galatians 2:20).

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13)

Praise God for these things; not by our reasoning, not by our strength, but through Messiah who lives in us.

A servants prayer:

Most High God, thank You for all You do. You are the one true God; You who are King of the Universe. Who am I that You would take notice of me? You gave Your only Son to live and die for all mankind; and for me. Will You help me in my desire to be Your bond servant?. Teach me Your Way. Teach me Your Path which is true and righteous. Teach me to be a good servant. Teach me to humble myself to allow the spirit of Yeshua Messiah to flow in me. May I not quench Your spirit, but instead may I honor and glorify You with all I do, with all I say, and with all I think. Most Holy One, I desire to hear You say, Well done, good and faithful servant.

In the name of Yeshua (Jesus) our Savior.

Amen.

It is being sold out to the Master of The Universe!

Here is a key to your future, dear friend!  Use it well…

Just maybe

Every once in a while we need to think beyond what the press and government types are saying!  HUH!

Is the answer more control or give people the freedom to determine their own lives?

Australian Shooter Magazine

An interesting letter in the Australian Shooter Magazine this
week, which I quote: “If you consider that there has been an average
of 160,000 troops in the Iraq theater of operations during the past 22
months, and a total of 2112 deaths, that gives a firearm death rate of
60 per 100,000 soldiers.

The firearm death rate in Washington, DC is 80.6 per
100,000 for the same period. That means you are about 25 percent more
likely to be shot and killed in the US capital, which has some
of the strictest gun control laws in the US,
than you are in
Iraq.

Conclusion: “The US should pull out of Washington DC.?

So we ask:

Is the answer more Gun Control? Obviously not!

Do you realize that the first thing all totalitarian governments do is restrict free speech and impose gun control!

You can’t have citizens with free will and the opportunity to speak against the government!
