  How will we win the war of the generations?

  One of the greatest tragedies of history has been the one generation has tended to and at certain times been defiant of previous or succeeding ones…  It is as if their generation is the only one which had the best ideas or ways to do things…   What causes this type of human behavior?

  Several factors exist which we must either over come or become bound by the same thought patterns…   Then we are bound to repeat the  same cycle of limited interaction and generational strife!

  Pride is one of the greatest factors, as in all human life, it causes us to think that we or our generation is the only great ones!  

  Jealousy is another key ingredient in the mix of conflict among the generations…

  While there are more factors; these two are the most important and should be addressed first.

  If we are honest, {which seems to be a problem for many} we would learn to honor the past generations and respect the up and coming generation as they are all God’s children and each contribute to the history of man kind!

  Strife, ling, cheating and stealing are all products of the Kingdom of Darkness; which is set to destroy and defame us so that we will not seek God!

  If you truly want to be a valiant soul, then start to seek the face of God and come to realize that most all we know today is because of actions of those who gone before!  This information is then put into play in the modern generation by the younger people today,  who dip into the well of out ancestors! 

 BTW: This is true of science, religion, industry, and even our basic way of life!

  Stop and seek the wisdom of the past to help you apply to a better emerging generation! a True-ism

So where does the so term ” Separation of Church and State “come from?

Well it is only found in one (1) letter from Thomas Jefferson to the Baptist Convention in New England; stating that the state {government} should not set up or mandate any church {religious belief system} upon the people of the United States!

Then in the 1950′s the Supreme Court made a ruling… It has been down hill ever since…

Let’s look at the Preambles of all 50 states! It makes you wonder how this thing has gotten so out of hand!

After reviewing acknowledgments of God from all 50 state constitutions, one is faced with the prospect that maybe, the ACLU and the out-of-control federal courts are wrong! If you found this to be ‘Food for thought’ send to as many as you think will be enlightened as I hope you were.

It is sad that we pass time on this earth and seldom learn what is expected of us… It appears from my over fifty years of observation; that many things here are cyclic and many are just part of the same system!

This life is much more than just finding things to make you happy! DUH!

If you really do not understand that then we need to talk! Reply or email me!

Lets look at what some of your goals should really be… HUH!

1) Your life like all things on this earth will come to pass…

2) While you waste most of your time in futile persuits, the Eternity rolls on!

3) If you ever get to the point when you seek the real reason for your life; stop pray and listen!

4) No matter what or how much you pile up in this earthly life; only your memories go with you, make them good!

5) Most things on this earth are here to assist or help us to become the best person (spirit) we can become!

6) If you have left God out of your life or have just ignored Him; you still have time to repent and seek Him!!

All of this is not a scare tactic; rather it is the explanation of the Absolute Truth as I have been led to believe…

Remember there is a Kingdom beyond sight of this worldly existance; have you acquired the desire to serve and enter there in?

   Life is like a message in a bottle, as it floats through eternity;

  Washed by the waves of time, floating over the events of your life,

   What is the true purpose as you travel this pathway, 

   Waiting to be picked up by the hand of God!

   Everyday we wake up to a new opportunity in our life…  It’s what we do with it that counts!

  Many times it is not exactly what we may want or have wished for but it is the truth never the less…

  ****

  The older I get,  the more it seems that most people; are hell bent on destruction or an alienation against the Truth!

  Some examples of this is the some of the radical ideas are to:
  (This is just an overview)

 1) Make the world safer {green}  It appears that based on most everything I learned much of this Global warming is bunk, based on a few people attempting to cash in on a perceived dilemma… {Fear factor}  Just a few years back 1970′s the big scare was “Nuclear Winter”; where we were supposedly going to freeze the earth into none human existence!  I have all ways been a supporter of good conservation with proper planning to best use the resources available… 
  { My view on this is to learn to use what God has given us to it’s best ability; then there is no dilemma!}

 2) Give every body freedom…  This is another one of those ” We know better how to run your life”  things…
If you look at what most of these so called freedom groups espouse; it looks more like control of the masses…  Each group seems to have the perfect answer to all the problems in the world!  Yet once you examine their methods it all comes down to a few controlling (making the big money decisions) all the people…  So much for the world’s view of freedom!
 { Again if we just followed God’s plan for everyone having a free agency (freedom to choose) then there would not be any need for these schemes of mankind! God gave us all freedom and the devil’s gang is attempting to take it away! HUH!}   
 
3) Make the events in life a level playing field or fair… This goes along with 2) above;  with certain groups attempting to control everyone else’s life…  This is where a select few {Usually liberal types who think they have all the right answers for you} take it upon themselves to decide and control the actions of others…
  { Life is not fair and you will never get a level playing field this side of Heaven!  So seek the blessings of God and let that direct your goals in this life!}
 
 4) Attempting to make peace…   Peace is a rare glimpse of heaven on earth…  It  has only existed a few brief periods here in this world…  Most of the so called peace accords are made by those in power to force others {those on the opposition side} to concede to do their wishes…
 { Peace, while a Nobel and desired virtue; will never exist for any length of time here; because the hearts on man are greedy and love to bring destruction!}

 5) Convince everybody that what ever is in the minds of the controllers {Government, or Science, or Big Business, or Religious organizations} is good for you!  This is a summary of all that is above…  We find that the big picture is: that God has given each of us a free agency to choose their destiny…  But the Devil or great deceiver wants to place everyone under his control…. 
 { Therefore you continue to see the systems of this world, where a few rule and attempt to control the lives of everyone else!}

” If you stop an look hard enough; you will see that there are two opposing forces at work in existence!  You choice is to choose which one you will follow!  Truth and Light or Falsehood and Darkness! “  a True-ism  

Some things you learn out upon the Ocean

” At almost every happening in your life; you should learn something! ” a True-ism

I have found this to be so true in my life… This occurs when doing chores at home, or school work, or playing outside, or talking with friends, or at a place of employment. At each of these activies or occurrences in life, you should build your knowledge base… While it may not always be positive or great, it is another step on your pathway of life…

Remember your life is not just a single event, rather it is a collection of happenings over an expanse of time… Now some people have longer lives than others, but still their existence is made up of all the happenings on their pathway of existence… The essence of life is really the compilation or sum of all these events… It is what you do with the opportunities and happenings that becomes the final goal or result of your existence…

Now back to the ocean; having grown up and spent years on or near the ocean, I have had many opportunities to learn:

1) The first is to fear or respect the ocean for what is is… Much like attempting to know God; it is vast, and really beyond the control of mankind… Therefore you learn to accept it for the power and glory it exhibits…

2) There are certain things you learn that you can or not do upon the ocean… It is rather like learning the limits or ramifications of these vast body of water upon the earth!

3) Time and tide are two things which man can not change; like it or not! Many have attempted to rule the elements of the earth but to no avail!

4) Like many things in life with some knowledge and patience you can safely sail upon the oceans of the world… Once you come to understand you place!

5) Wind and waves are some of the most continuous yet changing things upon the earth… This may sound odd to some but once you realize that the waves are, then that they come and go as they will! You come to see the regular and yet different in the ocean… Much of life is exactly like that… It exist yet is beyond the meadeling or control of man!

Take some time to recognize the cadence of life and how you are a part of the great cycle… Much like the ocean which is vast, changing, yet can be either violent like a Hurricane or as peaceful as a small mirrorglass like pond…

These are some of the things learned from or about the ocean…

Think about it dear friend! May it help you sail a better course!!

Firse let me say that I have never felt that a border fence would work either here or where ever such things exist!  Fences do not really keep people either in nor out of countries…  This article just prove thta this is another waste of good money…  We would be better off just sending the money for the fence on down to Mexico!

Congress mandated the constuction of hundreds of miles of fencing along our Southern border in 2006

without any real knowledge of its true costs.

 

Taxpayers have paid $2.4 billion for fence construction

to date

 

, and annual funding has jumped from $6 million in 2002 to $843 million in 2008. Yet all signs

indicate the fence is bound to cost us much more.

The only estimate of the fence’s cost in 2006 was a 1999 Army Corps of Engineers study which said the

most common type of pedestrian fencing would cost around $431,000 per mile. The U.S. Customs and

Border Patrol reports the fence already costs ten times that amount. In some locations, costs can run as

high as $12 million per mile.

Construction contracts, however, indicate

 

actual costs are even higher

. These contracts show average

costs at

 

$4.5 million per mile for primary fencing and $1.6 million for vehicle barriers

. And these

contracts don’t include significant related costs, including:

•

 

Fluctuating fuel, labor and materials prices,

exacerbated by the use of private contractors.

•

 

The high costs of purchasing land from private

owners and fighting lawsuits challenging the

Department of Homeland Security’s waiver of

nearly 40 environmental and regulatory laws.

Though CBP added $0.8 million per mile for land

acquisition costs in their most recent estimates, this

figure is likely low considering the more than 100

cases challenging the DHS awards currently before

the courts.

Environmental mitigation. The $50 million Congress added to DHS’ 2009 budget for “regulatory

and environmental requirements” is a drop in the bucket. Taxpayers often end up with the bill for

long-term environmental impacts when the government is exempted by legal waivers.

But the biggest future cost to taxpayes may be the

 

high price of fence maintenance.

U.S. Army Corps

estimates for maintaining the 370 miles of “primary” fence range from $5 and $8 million per mile each

year. The Congressional Budget Office estimated annual maintenance costs at 15 percent of construction

costs. That means

 

 

maintenance costs will surpass construction costs within seven years

. These

estimates—probably low, as they do not address the increasing problem of fence vandalism—indicate

taxpayers are looking

 

 

at least $8 billion to maintain the fence over its 25-year life cycle

.

Though Congress has asked the Department of Homeland Security to provide realistic cost estimates,

DHS has dragged its feet, either leaving such estimates out of its reports or failing to submit the reports

altogether. Every dollar is precious in this economic climate, and a full and transparent accounting of

national security spending is vital for setting priorities.
