If you’re looking to improve mental cognition, increase your memory, and enhance your alertness, here are 15 easy ways to help out your brain.

1. Exercise: More than 20 percent of your body’s blood and oxygen go directly to your brain. Exercise, particularly cardio training, effectively increases the flow to your brain, keeping it a well-oiled machine. But if you’d like something a little more Zen, try Yoga. Many Yoga poses, like Downward Facing Dog, are specifically engineered to get blood to your brain faster.

2. Hydrate: If you’re looking for a little pick-me-up, don’t reach for your usual double espresso. Instead try drinking water. The caffeine in coffee and soda may temporarily make you feel more alert, but in the long run will make you even more tired by dehydrating your muscles and constricting your blood vessels. Water, on the other hand, is a simple way to keep your mind alert and refreshed.

3. Find Stimulation: By decorating your work area brightly or switching your font color to something more vivid, you can work through boredom and fatigue. Aromatherapy can also be enormously effective, as smell is the strongest of the senses. Lemon, peppermint, and cypress are several scents known to stimulate the brain.

4. Think Happy Thoughts: Your brain, particularly your memory, doesn’t respond well to stress. If you’re tense, overwrought, or unhappy, you’re much less likely to retain information or stay alert. Try to eliminate stressful influences from your life and workplace.

5. Play Games: Studies with dementia patients have shown that playing word games and puzzles can increase and even restore mental cognitive abilities.

8. Eat Brain Food: If you want to get peak mental performance from what you eat, here are a few things to remember. Protein is the main source of fuel for your brain. Your brain also needs foods rich in crucial vitamins and minerals, and it’s always better to get these from food rather than taking pills …

• Vitamin A is needed to protect brain cell membranes
• B Vitamins are essential for neuronal growth and vitality
• Vitamin C is so vital for brain function that its levels in your brain are 15 times higher than anywhere outside your brain

We all have things in our life that cause us pain and memories that come back to haunt us… Any number of traumatic events in your life can leave you holding on to a lot of emotional baggage! Depending on what happened or the circumstances of the traumatic event; certain things will trigger or bring up anger, hatred, fear or even righteous indignation… These responses are a reflection of emotional wounds from your past!! We call the residual effects of your past traumas, the Primary Emotions! The exact intensity of your primary emotions is directly connected to the events of your past.. The more traumatic the events the more intense your primary emotions!

” Many primary emotions lie dormant within your mind With little effect on your everyday life until something triggers them!” a True-ism

The problem is that you can not just isolate yourself from everything that may set off a negative emotional response! Mainly because most times some things in your past are unresolved! Then present day events can trigger what would be classified as Primary Emotions…

We all have some hurtful, traumatic experiences in our past, which have left scars emotionally… Many times the emotional trigger is there just waiting to be set off… It can be a word, sound, name or even a smell, that reminds you of some long ago traumatic event that brings the primary emotion forward! The best way to control this out break is Mental Management…

Many people try to avoid any primary emotions by ignoring or not addressing any root causes for the triggered reactions… Since you have no control over the your past; it does not help to feel guilty, about something you can not control! Here is where mental evaluation comes in to produce a Secondary Emotion; which is a combination of both the past and present! Now we are getting some where! HUH!

Mental Management is not developing a system of denial or using other messages that just cover your past! See your past in light of who you really are! Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you into all the Truth! Because this is how GOD intends for you to resolve past experiences; in two ways.

First, you need to understand that you are no longer a product of your past, no one really is… Many people tend to become bogged down in their past and never get to the point where GOD intended for them! Remember your primary emotions are rooted in the lies that we believe that we are free from any past occurances… The intensity of the primary emotion was established by how you perceived it when it occurred! Seek the Holy Spirit in your life to set you free through the revelation of the Truth…

Even thought many believers think that they are not effected by these emotions; they are! No one is immune from their past; we must learn Mind Management!

The second step is to resolve past emotional events; through forgiveness! What is forgiveness you may ask, and why should you need it?

Here are some things forgiveness is not: It is not forgetting, it is not revenge or getting even, it does not mean that you should tolerate sin, lies or any destructive manipulation!

Twelve steps toward forgiveness: Because forgiveness is required by GOD and is necessary to avoid entrapment by the world systems; including those of Satan!

1) As The Holy Spirit to reveal to your mind those people you need to forgive!

2) Acknowledge the hurt and hate. This is necessary for you to move forward!

3) Come to understand the great forgiveness of Christ on the cross. ( He took upon himself all the sins of the entire existence of mankind) Remember all forgiveness is subnational as was Christ’s forgiveness for us all!

4) Decide that you will not retaliate in the future against those who have caused you emotional pain. It may not be fair; because it is forgiveness!

5) Decide to forgive; then there be a freeing your self from the past events.

6) Make a list of those who have offended you in the past, now take this list name by name to God in prayer… Seek to resolve your feeling about each person to the point that you can truthfully forgive their trespasses!

7) Now destroy the list; so that you may be made free! Then you can step forward out of the darkness that has held you captive with these emotions!

8) Do not expect the people that you have forgiven to change over night. Instead pray for them that they may come to a point of forgiveness in their lives also.

9) Try to understand the people you have forgiven; but don’t rationalize their behavior.

10) Expect positive results of your forgiveness. In time you will be able to think about the people you have forgiven with out triggering any primary emotions!

11) Thank GOD for the lesson you have learned along with the maturity you have gained in this process.

12) Be sure to accept any part you may have had in the blame or causes of the offenses you suffered. Few if any are spotless!

Confess your failures to GOD and to any others who may hold something against you for past grievances or pain!

Here is where you have to just let go and accept the will of GOD in your life! You may well get a second touch from GOD and resolve that you should now not willfully tolerate sin; and begin to take a valid stand for all that you come to know is wrong! So that you may no longer respond in bitterness!

Cancer Treatments?

In 2008, over 1.4 million new cases of cancer will be diagnosed, and over 1,500 people will die every day from the disease, according to American Cancer Society data. Despite its prevalence as one of the biggest killers in the modern world, conventional medicine remains completely mystified as to how to address this disease.

Their “solution” to cancer lies with three risky and highly invasive procedures: surgery, chemotherapy and radiation. The alarming rates of cancer deaths across the world — cancer has a mortality rate of 90 percent, according to Italian oncologist Dr. Tullio Simoncini — speak volumes about the effectiveness, or lack thereof, of these treatments, yet they are still regarded as the gold standard of cancer care.

Undoubtedly, many people turn to conventional treatments like chemotherapy because they think they are the ONLY option. But perhaps people would feel differently if they knew that a full 75 percent of doctors say they’d refuse chemotherapy if they were struck with cancer due to its ineffectiveness and its devastating side effects.

“If I were to contract cancer, I would never turn to a certain standard for the therapy of this disease. Cancer patients who stay away from these centers have some chance to make it,” said Professor Gorge Mathe.

You may be surprised to learn that, despite its reputation as the go-to cancer treatment, chemotherapy has an average 5-year survival success rate of just over 2 percent for all cancers, according to a study published in the journal Clinical Oncology in December 2004.

“It is clear that cytotoxic chemotherapy only makes a minor contribution to cancer survival,” the researchers wrote. “To justify the continued funding and availability of drugs used in cytotoxic chemotherapy, a rigorous evaluation of the cost-effectiveness and impact on quality of life is urgently required.”

Chemotherapy is a classic example of a cure that is worse than the disease. In fact, many experts now say that cancer patients are more likely to die from cancer treatments than the cancer itself.

“The majority of the cancer patients in this country die because of chemotherapy, which does not cure breast, colon or lung cancer. This has been documented for over a decade and nevertheless doctors still utilize chemotherapy to fight these tumors,” said Dr. Allen Levin, MD, author of The Healing of Cancer.

There Are Safe, Effective Options Available for Treating Cancer

Yet, you probably haven’t heard of them because they’re simple and inexpensive, and therefore lack the backing to get thoroughly researched and publicized. Dr. Simoncini explains:

“In the future — I hope soon — I am convinced that it will be possible to treat and cure any tumor within 15-30 days with either a pill or an injection in the morning and in the evening when there is targeted pharmacological research. But, again, we now have to work with what we have.”

Is he talking about the latest chemo drug? A radical new surgery? A high-dose radiation treatment? Nope, not even close. Dr. Simoncini is referring to sodium bicarbonate, better known as baking soda.

Dr. Simoncini was ousted from the medical community because as an oncologist — a cancer specialist — he refused to use conventional cancer treatment methods, choosing instead to administer sodium bicarbonate..

Dr. Simoncini’s quite amazing experience has shown that 99 percent of breast- and bladder cancer can heal in just six days, entirely without the use of surgery, chemo or radiation, using just a local infiltration device (such as a catheter) to deliver the sodium bicarbonate directly to the infected site in your breast tissue or bladder. “Sodium bicarbonate is the time honored method to ‘speed up’ the return of the body’s bicarbonate levels to normal. Bicarbonate is inorganic, very alkaline and like other mineral type substances supports an extensive list of biological functions. Many chemotherapy treatments actually include sodium bicarbonate to help protect patients’ kidneys, heart and nervous system. It’s been said that administering chemotherapy without bicarbonate could possibly kill a patient on the spot. Could it be that while mixing chemo poisons with baking soda, any improvements seen are the result of the baking soda, and not the toxic poisons?

Dr. Sircus certainly thinks so.

“There are no studies separating the effects of bicarbonate from the toxic chemotherapy agents nor will there ever be,” he says.

If you keep an open mind, you will quickly learn that there are numerous ways to support your body in healing that have nothing to do with toxic drugs and surgery, even when it comes to a serious condition like cancer.

Relatively simple risk reduction strategies can help you to VIRTUALLY ELIMINATE your cancer risk, and radically improve your chances of recovering from cancer if you currently have it.

You won’t read or hear much about these techniques elsewhere either, because they have not been formally “proven” by conservative researchers. However, were you aware that 85 percent of therapies currently recommended by conventional medicine have never been formally proven either? That’s something to think about. Here are the top tips I recommend:

1. Reduce or eliminate your processed food, sugar and grain carbohydrate intake. Yes, this is even true for whole unprocessed organic grains, as they tend to rapidly break down and drive your insulin and leptin levels up, which is the last thing you need to have happening if you are seeking to resolve a cancer.

2. Control your fasting insulin and leptin levels. This is the end result, and can be easily monitored with the use of simple and relatively inexpensive blood tests.

3. Normalize your ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 fats by taking a high-quality krill oil and reducing your intake of most processed vegetable oils.

4. Get regular exercise. One of the primary reasons exercise works is that it drives your insulin levels down. Controlling insulin levels is one of the most powerful ways to reduce your cancer risks.

5. Normalize your vitamin D levels by getting plenty of sunlight exposure and consider careful supplementation when this is not possible. If you take oral vitamin D and have a cancer, it would be very prudent to monitor your vitamin D blood levels regularly.

6. Get regular, good sleep.

7. Eat according to your nutritional type. The potent anti-cancer effects of this principle are very much underappreciated. When we treat cancer patients in our clinic this is one of the most powerful anti-cancer strategies we have.

8. Reduce your exposure to environmental toxins like pesticides, household chemical cleaners, synthetic air fresheners and air pollution.

9. Limit your exposure and provide protection for yourself from radiation produced by cell phones, cell phone towers, base stations and WiFi stations.

10. Avoid frying or charbroiling your food. Boil, poach or steam your foods instead.

11. Have a tool to permanently reprogram the neurological short-circuiting that can activate cancer genes. Even the CDC states that 85 percent of disease is caused by emotions. It is likely that this factor may be more important than all the other physical ones listed here, so make sure this is addressed. One of the best approaches and my particular favorite tool, as you may know, is the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).

12. Eat at least one-third of your food raw. Personally my goal is 85% raw and I am usually able to achieve that.

Fear, Shame & Guilt!

Why do we feel weak, lost, and unaccepted?

Many today know of GOD; but do not have any relationship with HIM!

” But a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him, and he can not understand them, because they are spiritually apprised!” I Cor. 2:14 KJV. a True-ism

The term ” Knowledge ” in the western world especially is just a collection of data. Some of the negative emotions people experience due to the lack of a fuller understanding and better relationship with GOD are:

1) Fear of almost everything… We are living in a period of great anxiety.

2) Shame and guilt, when dominated by these emotions, people tend to cover their inner self thus self disclosure is not likely to happen.

One of the main contributions of these feelings is the wave of depression which doubled between 1985 to 1995 and has shown a tenfold increase in the twentieth century in the USA… Much of this is based on the fact that we have too many choices today…

With so much information available in the past hundred years, people tend to become befuddled or over whelmed by the sheer mass of data… We get advice from almost everywhere, do this, or go here, or buy this, or say that, then all the government regulations and laws… It has become a place where you can know a lot but not be available to respond because you do not know which is the right or correct path for you!

The transitional effects of mankind’s key attributes; Innocence, Dominion and Acceptance, have become three almost continuous needs in our lives today…

1) Innocence has been replaced for the most part by guilt and shame; which causes the need for a sense of true self worth needs to be restored!

2) Dominion has been replaced by weakness ans a sense of total helplessness; we therefore have a need for strength and self-control evident in the world today.

3) Acceptance was replaced by various forms of rejection; Which makes us want to belong to something, even if it is wrong.

Apart from the Holy Spirit in your life, the greatest power you possess is your ability to choose! Our sense of worth is not a question of our giftedness, talents, intelligence, strength or beauty; it is your sense of personal worth as a child of God!

The human soul was not designed to function as a sovereign master. We are not masters of our fates or even Captains of our souls! Every temptation to live your life independent of God’s plan is a one way path toward destruction and loss. Even our best efforts at self control, beyond our personal choice; without the Grace of God, leads only to some type of self perfectionism or a form of legalism which will result in self destruction!

Start to seek God in your life and find out who you really are, not who the world wants you to be!” a True-ism

Rejection

 No matter how you live your life there is always someone who will not agree or accept your views… 

 Therefore when you come under attack, find out what the reasons are and act accordingly!!   

  Defensiveness is defenseless; when you are criticized for doing  something wrong and it is valid.  a True-ism 

  Therefore any defensiveness on your part is at best just a rationalization yet at worse a lie or falsehood!!

  This is where so many people come to situations of denial and rejection in their lives… Thus you must some to learn not to become defensive when 
   your short coming are brought forth!   

 
 Beware:  Because once you let your emotions rule the situation, you have just about lost the battle for reason and generally will destroy any credibility you may have had! 

   While most of the systems of the world seem very influential, you need not respond to any of these things that only embroil and cause more pain and suffering…  Address the truth and seek to clarify the situation!

 
  When personal confrontations occur respond by looking out for the other persons needs and character…  While you are of course personally responsible for your own character, it does not do any good to try to defend the indefensible or attack another’s character!     
 
  The world and Satan will try to get you to focus on you rights instead of your responsibilities… 

  ” Anytime a nation, a group or even individuals focus upon their so called rights, at the exclusion of their responsibilities, they are on the path of defeat!  No culture can long withstand any type of self-centered orientation… “   Victory over the Darkness 1990 by  Dr. Neil Anderson

  We are all only responsible for what we did…   Don’t try to play the role of being someone’s conscience, that is for GOD!   When you attempt to play the role of the Holy Spirit; or the Conscience in another’s life you misdirect the battle from GOD toward ourselves… 

 
BTW: We are ill equipped to play GOD or direct other people lives by attempting to direct their conscience!!  Another Secret of the Universe!

  You can hold people accountable for their actions but you should never denigrate their character!   Attempt to express your desires without judging someone!  When you express your wants or emotional needs  with another, try to change any “you” accusations to an “I” message…  This way your non judgmental approach allows the Holy Spirit to deal with the person’s conscience!  The other person is now free to respond to your needs instead of becoming defensive against your attacks!!  What a plan, put this into use in your next personal defensive encounter…

Understanding Rejection Part I !

We are born into this worldly environment which chooses favorites based on some other particular qualities…

“Everyone knows some form of rejection in life… Rejection is based on the imperfection of mankind and the guilt of or pride for certain desired qualities!” a True-ism

It all starts in the eye or the ear of the rejector… They will tend to gravitate toward certain commonly misconceived qualities; as to what makes for a better person! Some is due to sheer ignorance, other is when predigest creeps in, as a form to ensure the position, of a perceived superior person(s)… Of course truth dictates that most all, if not every one of the scenarios are just a control technique… It has been used to instill the view that some people are just “Better” Than others else! Like Wealth, or Talent, or Physical / Mental abilities, or Class, or Race, or even some Social/ Religious standing!

If we could be perfectly honest, {which seems to be nearly impossible for most people}, we would learn to look upon the heart of another and not just the outward appearance… Then to not be selective and judgmental; here is where most people just give in to the worldly system… HUH! Sad but true!

The largest group of people {98%} in the world fall outside the so called group of ” Pretty, Perfect or Beautiful” people! The rest of us, the 98% tend to go through life believing that we are worthless, or unlovable, or unacceptable, or just don’t fit this mold!! Which is a complete lie; because if for some reason all the so called “Pretty” people just dropped off the face of the earth one day; everything would still go on, because the 98% have more than enough to continue life, Perfectly!

The worst fate is that many of the worlds, 98% never seem to understand there is really nothing wrong with them… It is a control comparison thing!! Here is where most people find themselves today, going about rejected and suffering day to day based on a false premise; that only the perfect are successful! Guess who made that up! Yep the 2% crowd!

That is why there are so many rebels in the world… They go around in a maze of ignorance questioning everything and not accepting the real worth of the individual! Therefore they continue the system of rejection and guilt… Because they have accepted the true belief of the system’s false judgment and control… Then if and when they do receive any success or acceptance; it is doubted or questioned out of existence! What a vicious cycle of grief we weave for ourselves!!

The worse of this thought is that during times of trouble or grief people even blame GOD, for their sad estate or circumstances!! Thus this attitude of rebellion and bad behavior tends to alienate others and push them to defend the very system that holds them captive and breeds more rejection… It is some what like having a festering sore, which you keep picking at and do not allow it to heal, it is always there with more pain!

The final analysis of this earthly system is no one wins! We need to learn that; Life is not a completion, rather it is meant to be a shared event… You can never win in a system where you the lower class or controlled ones; or someone, who would not dare to compare themselves, to those who measure themselves by themselves… (the upper 2 %)

The real hope and theme is to have everyone come to learn that they are loved for who they are… It should be based on a system where people help others to succeed, which then results in our succeeding as well. The more we build up others, Then more we really help ourselves!! Here is one of the secrets of the universe!!

How is it possible that we live in a country where diapers are table conversation and menstruation is considered gross? But no worries, there are many nice flowery euphemisms for us to wield while treading gently around this delicate topic. Environmentally, there are two issues here: First, what are the impacts of tampon and pad production, and second, what are the impacts of tampon and pad disposal?

What we have here are small, popular disposable products, and generally speaking, the environmental impact of small objects is not worth fretting over (electronics being an exception). Even if we had a complete data analysis of the waste and pollution implications of manufacturing tampons and pads, you ladies in the throes of womanhood know full well that there are other important factors at play in “sanitary product” choice, such as convenience, price, and comfort. Not to mention sanitary-ness, whatever that might be.

Even if you do want to reduce your contribution to this minor environmental woe, there is a shortage of options in the moon-mama market. If tampons are bad for the environment in some way (for example, through the chlorination of rayon and cotton during manufacturing), what can you do instead? Menstrual huts have never really taken off in Western culture, although I think this is a business idea waiting to happen. What we do have are practically secret, underground products disseminated via natural food stores and word of mouth.

“Natural” tampons, which are non-chlorinated and/or made from all-organic cotton, reduce the production impacts of sanitary products but continue the waste problem. (The U.S. Food and Drug Administration denies all the nasty rumors about dioxin, cancer, asbestos, and tampons, by the by, but many people remain concerned about the effects of lifelong exposure to the chemicals in sanitary products.) There are reusable, recycled cotton pads, which will cut down on disposal but raise the water bill. You could pull a Martha S. and sew your own pads out of old t-shirts, but don’t sell them to anyone else; it’s been repeatedly proven that folks hate successful businesswomen. Some people use natural sponges, torn from the ocean floor and sterilized. These have the benefit of being somewhat reusable and the drawback of … being torn from the ocean floor. Another generally unavailable option, used mostly for early abortion in the U.S., is menstrual extraction.

The Keeper.
Yes, I realize that none of these alternatives may sound enticing. But wait! You know I always try to give you the benefit of my long experience — in this case, my experience as a lady — and this lady is here to tell you about the Keeper, the very best of the secret, underground, word-of-mouth products. The Keeper is a rubber “menstrual cup” the size and shape of an egg cup. When folded and inserted, it opens and rests on the pelvic floor muscles. It collects menstrual blood rather than absorbing it, and is emptied periodically, depending on your own personal righteous womanhood. Let me testify, with glee, that I paid $35 for my Keeper in 1992. Other than sundry emergency supplies and several pounds of ibuprofen, that $35 is the sum total of my sanitary-product spending in the last decade.

Obviously, the Keeper is not for every woman, but only one woman in my extended circle of Keeper experimenters ever chose to discard hers and return to tampons. If you think the Keeper may be for you, I encourage you to investigate this low-cost, low-impact option. It’s not any “grosser” than what we’ve all been doing since the tender age of 12, to be printably vague. It is a sanitary, environmentally friendly method compatible with white pants, volleyball games, and soft music wafting in the background while you run in slow motion on the beach.

Past, Present or Future?

Where you let your mind wonder; is where you will be!

 “Everyone has problems, grief and difficulty in this earthly life.”  a True-ism  Oct 2008

  Where are you living,  are your thoughts and concerns in the past or the future?  This is what you need to decide for yourself…  A simple test and evaluation:

 Ask yourself How:  successful,
                            significant,              
                            satisfied,
                            fulfilled,
                            secure,  am I? 
P.S.  You can add, change to expand this list to suit your needs. Just keep it real!

   These are all questions about your present condition in this world.  This is where most people live day to day…

  Many live this life never knowing their full potential or true purpose.  We are all sojourners on this earth, here for only a while!  The real question is what are you going to do about it?   Continue to live the same Ole day by day existence or seek your true GOD given purpose in this earthly life… 

 When you get ready;  the key is to change your view to the future tense…   Ask:  Where are you going?  ” Where will you spend Eternity?”  For some direction and answers use the directions below:

 Using the same list above, ask, ” I would be more,  successful,
                                                                      significant,
                                                                      satisfied,
                                                                      fulfilled,
                                                                      secure,    if….. !
Fill in the “if”  blanks, with your vision or ideas…
 There is no correct answer, because what ever you answer,  will represent your true beliefs and views…   All of these “if whatever” answers constitute your present belief system!  This is the true you…  Who you think you are; in your heart of hearts, the real you!

 
  BTW: This is of course, assuming that your basic physiological needs { food, shelter, covering, and safety,}  are being met…

  Then you should be motivated to live a life based on your “if conditions”…  These should be  realistic goals and ones that you are capable of acquiring… Surrealism or fantasy dreams will surely not suffice to answer your life long questions or help direct you toward a real eternal goal!

  Remember GOD did not call you to be an insecure, in-cognizant, unfulfilled failure in this earth life…   It is up to you to seek and find the truth needed in your life and learn to become the person we were meant to be…  

 
 You need to learn to look forward not backward, if you are ever going to become a better person… God is not in your rear view mirror!   If you are confessed, remember GOD is not the author of confusion, the devil is!  
 
” Knowledge comes before faith, which comes before approaching GOD!”
   Matt 7:7-8 
 
 Remember a word of truth is worth more than all the lies ever told, as lies will not stand the test of time…  Lies and falsehoods all disappear upon hitting the wall of TRUTH!
 
 Can you trust GOD who is the Awesome TRUTH?

A Dangerous position!!
