It seems…
Every election year many people go into a zombie stage and tend to follow the piper, whom ever that happens to be!Date: 9/19/2008 4:00:56 PM ( 9 min æ ) … viewed 1 times
What I would like to have some one explain to me, is why do many people want to turn over all their responsibilities over to Big Government??
” A government is an orginzation that controls people.” a True-ism Sept 2008
DO you just want to work for the organization, not have to take time to decide what you need or want? That is where most of the world has been for almost all of known history! Check it out… Read some history!
Then just over 200 years ago some men came up with a better, prehaps the best way for a people to govern themselves… This was unheard of through out most of history… A new way to have the people decide what is best for themselves…
Well as with all good plans if you do not pay attention there will come those who know better; how you should spend your time and money… Yes, they know better than you what you need and really want, just ask them…
If you have paid any atttention, you may well note that this has been happening more and more in the good ole USA… Yes, folks they know how to spend your time and money better than you do…
What? How can that be? Well if you listen to certain political parties, they have the plan for you to follow… Yes just send in you money as tax and they will put it to good use… Because you do not know how to do this for yourself… Yes that is correct; just vote to have them take more of your time and money; because you can not figure out to do the right thing yourself…
Does this ring any bells, yet?? Well if it does not then either you do not pay tax or you are just plain stupid… Who in their right mind would volitarily turn over their time and resources to someone else to manage when they could do it themselves?? No one is the correct answer!
Well that is the big difference between the two main canidates running for President… One wants more of your time and money, and the other wants to leave most everything as is… While not perfect this arangment shows the foritude and ability of the voters… Either to let someone else take your money and spend it where they want or let you decide where to spend your money…
That is the long and short of it folks… Think long and hard…
BTW: I do not believe in party politics; I would like to see anyone interested and quilified run. Even if were fifty canidates, then vote for whom you please and the one with the most votes is President, and the runner up is vice Pres. It used to be that way, back before the “War between the States”….
Something to think about this election year…

” Often what we read or hear is not understood in the original true meaning.” a True-ism Sept 2008

One of the things we need to notice is what was the root meaning of the words used… In the western world, like it or not, many of the terms and root words come from the Greek… The Greek language if you study it has many ways to express things… Which allows for many forms of expression… Which is good, because it allows the speaker or writer several ways to express ideas…

One of the least understood items about the Greek language is that many of their verbs are an expression of on going action… A better way of example would be to know that these verbs continue on and on, endless… Unfortunately in English and many of the western languages the verbs translation often misses the point of the original Greek… When we read many of the verbs and other expressed action words from the original Greek, the intended meaning is lost…

Some of these translated words that tend to lose the on going meaning from the the Greek; include Salvation, Grace, Love, and Forgiveness…

Our Diabetes Epidemic:
Arm yourself with information about conditions associated with type 1 and type 2 diabetes and how to prevent them and drive diabetes into retreat with natural remedies.

Date: 12/3/2006 11:01:03 … viewed 608 times
The United States is in the midst of a diabetes epidemic. There has been a 40% increase over the last decade in the percentage of the U.S. population with diabetes. An estimated 17 million people in the United States have diabetes. That’s 6.2% of the population! 2,700 people are newly diagnosed with diabetes every day.

If those statistics weren’t scary enough, there are 16 million additional people between the ages of 40 & 74 that are estimated to suffer from Pre-Diabetes, also known as Syndrome X. Pre-Diabetes or Syndrome X is a condition previously known as impaired glucose tolerance. Individuals with this condition have blood glucose numbers that are higher than they should be, but not yet high enough to classified as diabetes. More than 18 million Americans are living with diabetes and the risk of developing serious complications, including heart and kidney disease, stroke, blindness and conditions leading to amputation.

A full third of those who have diabetes don’t even know it, as the disease often develops without obvious symptoms. Research studies in the United States and abroad have found that improved blood sugar control benefits people with either type 1 or type 2 diabetes. In general, for every 1 point reduction in A1c, the risk of developing diabetic complications (eye, kidney and nerve disease) is reduced by up to 40%. The American Diabetes Association, perhaps more than any other chronic disease, must be managed in large part by the patient.

Fortunately progress is being made in the area of nutrition focusing on the maintenance of normal blood sugar levels. Clinical studies are being released on several very promising herbs, minerals and botanicals such as:

Gymnema Sylvestre – This is probably the most practical herbal recommendation for improving blood sugar control in diabetics. A clinical trial recently conducted in the U.S. showed that Gymnema Sylvestre extract reduced the average fasting glucose by 11%, post-meal glucose by 13% and A1c by 6.8%. The A1c test is an indicator of the average blood sugar control over the last 2-3 months. It is interesting to note that Gymnema extracts exert their blood sugar-lowering effects only in cases of diabetes and do not produce hypoglycemic effects in healthy individuals.

Vanadyl Sulfate – Vanadyl sulfate is the biologically active form of vanadium, a trace mineral that mimics the action of the hormone insulin. Studies show that vanadyl is very effective in normalizing blood sugar levels and controlling conditions such as insulin resistance.

Bitter Melon – Bitter melon contains polypeptide p or p-insulin (p is for plant). In one study, glucose tolerance increased in 73% of type II diabetics. In another study, the extract of Bitter Melon produced a 17% reduction in glycosylated hemoglobin A1c after 7 weeks of use.

Chromium GTF – This complex of chromium and several amino acids has become known as the Glucose Tolerance Factor (GTF). Chromium concentrations in the tissues of Americans decrease with age and this may be a reason for the significant increase in diabetes as we get older. In clinical studies of type II diabetes patients, supplementing the diet with chromium has been shown to decrease fasting glucose levels, improve glucose tolerance, lower insulin levels and decrease total cholesterol and triglyceride levels while increasing HDL (good) cholesterol levels.

Bilberry Extract – Bilberry is widely used as a possible preventive treatment for complications of diabetes. This extract affects many health problems, not the least of which is blood sugar imbalances. Bilberry also improves night vision, strengthens capillaries, reduces blood clotting, and has antioxidant action. Research, done mostly in Italy, has also uncovered bilberry’s potential for treating retinal problems from poor blood circulation, diabetes-caused glaucoma, and day blindness.

Fenugreek Extract – Fenugreek has demonstrated significant anti-diabetic effects in experimental and clinical studies. Two studies in the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition reported that Fenugreek improves glucose tolerance in both Type I and Type II diabetes. Consistent intake of fenugreek stimulates pancreatic function. In patients with relatively mild diabetes, fenugreek significantly reduced both fasting and post meal glucose levels and healthy subjects experienced no change in glucose levels. Some of these ingredients are being used by progressive physicians and natural healers to help their patients managed this chronic disease. Often diabetes goes undiagnosed because many of its symptoms seem so harmless.

Recent studies indicate that the early detection of diabetes symptoms and treatment can decrease the chance of developing the complications of diabetes. Some diabetes symptoms include frequent urination, excessive thirst, extreme hunger, unusual weight loss, increased fatigue.Arm yourself with information about conditions associated with type 1 and type 2 diabetes and how to prevent them and drive diabetes into retreat with natural remedies, diet and 30 minutes a day of moderate physical activity, such as walking, dancing, or working in the yard. You can earn the benefits of being physically active without going to a gym, playing sports, or using fancy equipment. When you’re physically fit, you have the strength, flexibility, and endurance needed for your daily activities.

Being physically active helps you feel better physically and mentally.Physical activity can lower your blood glucose (sugar), blood pressure, and cholesterol. It also reduces your risk for heart disease and stroke, relieves stress, and strengthens your heart, muscles, and bones. In addition, regular activity helps insulin work better, improves your blood circulation, and keeps your joints flexible. If you’re trying to lose weight, a combination of physical activity and wise food choices can help you reach your target weight and maintain it. All of these benefits can be yours even if you haven’t been very active before.

Words to Wonder about

Being a Super Person

Wednesday, September 3rd, 2008

A Super person??
Who are you really? A super person? Never Happen!!Date: 8/6/2008 08:40:53
What are we / or who are you?
Super person?
« on: Today at 15:29 »

Most of us have either seen or at some point in our life been an over achiever… What makes a person resort to being an over achiever or a ” Super Person” ?

First “Success” is used by the world to show that only this will bring power, pleasure and fame or fortune… ( a lie )

Then the idea that the progression of success is based on more control or i.e. more happiness … ( another misnomer )

Finally the pressure is put on so many to achieve and thus become this super person; it prevails from the family, friends, and the society in general…

“Life is about living in the here and now, using your GOD given intelligence to learn to understand the worth of your soul!” a True-ism Aug 2008

Either you learn this truth or you chase after happiness down the endless road called success… Success does not change things in your life, it only adds to the stress and confussion… No amount of success will ever heal a person’s soul…

Fact: You are first of all ; spiritual being in an earthly body as you read this message… Next your earthly body is limited in this space / time contingent, but your soul is Eternal… So why do you spend so much time worrying about a limited human form, when it is your eternal soul that is at stake? Many of us push and go on in the quest for ultimate success in this earthly life not knowing when to stop or where to get off…

You may think by achieving earthly success, you will prove yourself a super person who is perfect… There are no perfect people! This perfect person only exist in your mind’s eye… If you stop and examine this you will see the guilt and shame built up because you will never measure up to this so called perfect person! Where does this leave you now?

1) first you must come to understand that this perfect person does not exist; it is an image or a part you have played over the years…

2) Next you must come to realize that this super whatever is killing you and must be eliminated… It is like a never ending voice shouting in your ear, more, more…

3) Only the realization of the real you will allow the super person within to be eliminated… This is where you must come to see the worth of your soul in the Eternity to come…

Now go for it, the choice is yours… What are you going to do? Play the part of the fool and chase after the never ending search for perfection or grow up and face the truth of the real limited you?

P.S. I know my limited self…
