A true story!!

After reading this at the last picture, I decided to take the advice given and I am going back to bed. God bless you all, especially the men that took action on this bear.

This bridge is on the Old Donner Pass Highway. It has a spectacular view of Donner Lake and Donner Pass on Route 80. You can see some of the pics on http://www.simplytruth.com photo section, nature… As it happened, back Sept 2007, A bear was walking across Rainbow Bridge (Old Hwy 40 at Donner Summit, Truckee) on Saturday when two cars also crossing the bridge from opposit directs; scared the bear into jumping over the edge of the bridge. BTW: most smart animals, who live loner, leave the road way to the wild and often reckless drivers… Somehow the bear caught the ledge and was able to pull itself to safety. Authorities decided that nothingc ould be done to help Saturday night so they returned Sunday morning to find the bear sound asleep on the ledge. After securing a net under the bridge the bear was tranquilized, fellinto the net, lowered, then woke up and walked out of the net.
There is a moral to this story you know; this old bear made a wrong move and found he was hanging by his nails. Somehow he was able to pull himself up onto the ledge where he saw he was in a very bad, impossible situation and what did he do? Yep, he took a nap and sure enough the situation took care of itself while he was asleep.
The moral is that when confronted with a bad situation sometimes the best solution is to take a nap… Let things just work them selves out!! HUH!!

When only the truth will do!!
If you listen to the Mass Media; you may not be getting the whole Truth!! HUH!!Date: 2/14/2008 11:39:27
A well balanced mind will seek the truth, against all odds!!
I find it preposterous that people still chase a Biggie Man; and avoid the Real Truth in life…
” If you see something it may be true; if you just heard something it may not be true… ” a True-ism Feb 2008
Interesting stuff the News Media puts out… Maybe you will want to rethink the so called ” Global Warming Stuff ” ; remember money talks and people chase after it with reckless abandonment!! HUH!!
I Was Right About the Bird Flu Hoax
Last year, the number of human cases of avian flu dropped rather than rose for the first time — from a paltry 115 in 2006 to an even more insignificant 86 in 2007. Frightening headlines warning of a pandemic that could kill 150 million people have all but vanished.
Although some “experts” still argue that preparations against bird flu must continue, many are finally beginning to realize what I said all along — that this over hyped, oversold “pandemic” was never a threat in the first place. According to Dr. Paul A. Offit, a vaccine specialist at Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia, “H5 viruses have been around for 100 years and never caused a pandemic and probably never will.”
Still, according to this New York Times article, scientists and governments are congratulating themselves for averting a threat that never was by stockpiling worthless vaccines, pointlessly culling hundreds of millions of birds, and pouring money into preparation efforts. I can only imagine that the flu vaccine manufacturers are laughing all the way to the bank.

Any thing for weight loss?? HUH!!

This is hard to believe! But who knows… Read the story!!

One of the Most Ridiculous Studies on Weight Loss Ever Published
A truly ludicrous study purports to show that a weight-loss surgery called adjustable gastric banding works better than conventional medical treatment for Type 2 diabetes in the obese.
Type 2 diabetes is usually brought on by obesity, and patients can often rid themselves of the disease entirely by losing about 10 percent of their body weight.
Adjustable gastric banding consists of looping a band around the top of the stomach to cinch it into a small pouch. 25 to 30 percent of the more than 200,000 weight-loss operations performed in the United States last year used gastric banding.
Of course, weight-loss surgeries can result in black-outs, malnutrition, infection, bowel and gallbladder problems, and an increased risk of death, but these facts are largely missing from reporting on the study.
The study’s lead author, Dr. John Dixon, says he believes that, “[D]iabetes surgery will become common within the next few years.” The reasons for his position might become a little clearer when you realize that Dr. Dixon has received research grants and speakers’ fees from Allergan Health, the company that makes the gastric bands. The company also paid for the study in question.
